Newark ---Barbara Jean Barnaba, 80, died on Sunday (February 8, 2005) at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Service at 1 P.M. on Friday (February13th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Palmyra.

Mrs. Barnaba was born at home on September 29, 1934, in the Town of Galen. She had been an attendant at the Newark State School. Over thirty years ago, she moved to Tucson, Arizona with her husband returning to Newark a couple of years ago. Barbara was a member of St. Michael Church.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Anthony “Tony”; daughter Cheryl (Darren Daniels) to Tucson, sons Walter (Debra) Lawson Jr. of Palmyra, Kurt (Sandy) Lawson of Lyons and David Lawson of Lyons; stepson Gerald Barnaba; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; sisters Joan Volpe of Buffalo, Sandy Pursati of Rochester, Naomi Dillon of Rochester and Mary Tridotte of Spencerport; brother Emerson (Barbara) Curtis of Palmyra. Barbara was predeceased by a stepdaughter Angie Barnaba, sisters June, Elaine and Betty.
