Newark—Daniel Marro, 84, died Wednesday (June 24, 2015) at his home.

A graveside funeral service with military honors will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday (July 1^st) at the East Newark Cemetery on Vienna Street, Newark.

Memorials, in his memory, may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489.

Mr. Marro was born on June 11, 1931 in Newark, the son of Anthony and Lucy (Marro) Marro. He was graduate of Newark High School in 1950. Dan enlisted in the US Air Force in January of 1951 for four years serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a foreman for the Sulivan Trail Excavation Company for many years.

Dan is survived by his son Daniel M. of Lyons, two stepsons Michael (Denise Barry) Concert and Ronald (Frances Tollaci) Newark; five grandchildren Joseph Marro, Sara Loftus, Josh Dicks, Christopher and Ryan Concert; two great grandchildren Ashley and Aaron Lowery; sister Theresa Urban of Newark; serveral nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Katherine in 2013 and a son John A. Marro.
