Newark—Eddie Charles Williams, 58, died Thursday (September 24, 2015) at Rochester General Hospital.

Friends may call from 5 - 7 PM on Wednesday (September 30^th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday (October 1^st) at the funeral home with burial to follow in Newark Cemetery.

Eddie was born on December 5, 1956, in Miami, Florida the son of Henry and Eddie Mae Polk Williams. He graduated high school and attended culinary school. Eddie was a self-employed handyman most of his working career.

He is survived by his children Lashanda Kaveny, Darrell Williams and Wakeesha Moody all of Newark; six grandchildren; his beloved friend Susan Cill of Newark; his siblings Mary Alice Williams, Carepha Williams, Dorothy Jean Williams, Johnny Polk, Lorenzo Polk, Curtis Lee Williams, Willie Lewis Williams and Darrell Williams; many nieces and nephews.
