Clifton Springs/Newark—Irene F. Allen, 79, died Sunday (January 3, 2016) at the Rochester General Hospital.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. on Wednesday (January 6th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday (January 7^th) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery. 

Memorials, in her name, may be made to American Heart Association, 3500 Winton Place, Rochester, New York 14623.

Mrs. Allen was born on March 23, 1936 in Rochester, the daughter of the late James and Loretta Falcetti. She attended school in Rochester and was very proud later in life when she earned her GED. Irene helped her husband for many years, in his pool maintence business, Lakeside Enterprises.

She is survived by her children Donna (Robert) DiNiere of Newark, David (Debbie) Rutan of Walworth, Ronald Rutan of Seminole, FL. several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a half brother Joseph Falcetti of Venice, Fl; nieces and nephews. Irene was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Richard, on December 12, 2015.
