William P. Butler

 

Newark–William P. Butler, 62, died Friday (June 18, 2010) at Rochester General Hospital.

            Friends may call from 6-9 P.M. on Thursday (June 24th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller Street in Newark.  Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday (June 25th) at the Emmanuel  United Methodist Church,  301 E. Miller St in Newark.  Burial services will be in the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. 

          Contributions in William’s memory may be made to the family  in care of  Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark, NY  14513.

          He is survived by his partner of  25 years, Joyce  Woodhams  of Newark; five children Tracy Lee Dee of Florida, Tracy Marie Butler of Lyons, Tanya Lynn Butler of Newark, Tammy (Dale) Roberts of Clifton Springs, and William Patrick Butler of Palmyra; three step-children James (Darlene) Woodhams of Dansville, Charles Woodhams of Conesus, and Larry Houghtaling of Auburn; many grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers Gene (Christine) and Carl (Marian) Butler; two sisters Karen Weed and Cindy Butler;  and many nieces and nephews.  Mr. Butler was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.
