Newark ---Anna C. Conklin, 87, passed away Wednesday (October 10, 2012) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

            Friends may call 6 to 9 P.M. on Friday (October 12, 2012) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM on Saturday (October 13^th) at St. Michael’s Church, South Main Street, Newark .  Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Phelps.

            Mrs. Conklin was born September 23, 1925 in Newark the daughter of Peter and Mary Parisi Buragina.  Ann worked at Montgomery-Wards where she met her husband.  She was a life-resident of Newark and communicant of St. Michael’s Church.

            She is survived by her husband of 53 years Carl A.  Sr., a son Carl A. Jr. of Rochester, a daughter Karen (Brian) DesCamp of Phelps; three grandchildren Adam, Ben and Emily DesCamp; two sisters Angeline (John) Yaniri and Jeanette (Paul) Staples both of Newark; several nieces and nephews.  Anna was predeceased by her parents, a brother James Buragina and a sister Portia Paone.
