Lyons---- Arthur Lee Harris, 69, Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025, at his home in Lyons.

Friends may call on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 3 to 5:30 PM at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street in Newark. A Funeral Service will follow at 5:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Newark Cemetery.

Arthur was born in Sanford, Florida, on July 1, 1956, the son of the late Ore Lee and Maeola Robinson Harris.  He was a graduate of Newark Senior High School.  For many years he worked as a manager at McDonald's, in later years he took a job with the Village of Lyons.  Once the village dissolved, he went to work for Dave Burnham.

Mr. Harris is survived by two children Jamie (Danielle) Harris, Jacqueline Harris; three grandchildren Shenna, Tristan, and Samaria; three great grandchildren; four sisters Maria Banks, Linda Harris, Julie Styer and Debbie Rosairo; two brothers Melvin Harris, David Harris.  He was predeceased by his wife Rochlene "Rocky" Harris in 2000 and his son Jeremy in 1991..
