Newark-Barbara J. Brunner, 90, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Newark Manor.

Friends are invited to a reception at noon on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Park Presbyterian Church, 110 Maple Ct. in Newark. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

Barbara was born in Rochester, on April 6, 1935, the daughter of the late William and Laura Lazier Taggart. With her husband Don she owned and operated Rose City Glass. She later worked as an Aide at the Newark Manor. She was a lifelong caregiver. Barbara was a spirited and fun-loving woman who adored her family.

She is survived by two daughters Laurie (Jerry) Seely and Linda Brunner; nine grandchildren Daniel Cole, Shannon (Ryan) Norton, Alyssa Seely, Amber (Geoff) Spoerl, William (Melissa) Seely, Noel Ellis, Ashley Brunner, Christine Brunner, Robin Brunner; nine great grandchildren Jacob, Kalyn, Ave', Mia, Gabriella, Preston, Daniella, Adam and Zain; a daughter in law Amy Brunner; sisters Carol (Ron) Etter, Ruby “Liz”(Mary Beth) Taggart and Kathy (John) Spencer. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Donald F. Brunner; a son Donald A. Brunner; a grandson R.J. VanDeMortel; brothers William and James Taggart.
