Newark---Bernice Goebert, 83, of Newark passed away Friday, October 24, 2025, at Newark Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Wednesday, October 29th at Paul L. Murphy & Sons funeral Home, 127 E Miller St, Newark, NY 14513. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, October 30th at St. Michael’s Church, 401 S. Main St., Newark, NY.

Bernice was born in South Miami Beach on March 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Vincent and Violet Rittell LoPinto. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church. She was a homemaker raising four kids.

She is survived by her three children Roger Goebert, Lance Goebert, Calan Lopinto; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; a son-in-law Carlos Cintron. She was predeceased by her daughter Erica Goebert in March of 2025; a brother and a sister.
