Newark—David Lee SanAngelo, 65, died unexpectedly Friday (April 1, 2011) at Rochester General Hospital with his family by his side.

          Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday (April 4th) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at  10:00  am on Tuesday (April 5th) at St. Michael Church in Newark.

          Memorials, in his honor, may be made to St. Michael's School, 320 S. Main St. , Newark, NY 14513 or to the Newark Wayne Community Hospital, P.O. Box 571, Newark, NY  14513

          David was born  February 14, 1946 in Newark, the son of the late Fr

ank and Violet Kless SanAngelo.  He graduated from Newark Sr. High in 1964.  Mr. SanAngelo worked as an X-Ray Technician  at the Newark Developmental Center, the Health and Science Center in Syracuse and at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. He was a communicant at St. Michaels Church. David was a volunteer at the Newark Food Closet and the Wayne Arts Council.  Classic cars were a great love of David’s.  He was a loving husband, wonderful father and devoted grandfather.

          He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharon Bremer SanAngelo, children Shelley (James) Troch of  Newark, David (Carrie Girard) SanAngelo and Amy (Frederick) Zugibe of Geneva, grandchildren Alexandria Powers, Hailey Burnett, Frederick Zugibe and Owen Zugibe, two brothers James (Shirley) of Newark and Michael (Barb) of Schenectady and many nieces and nephews.
