Newark/Palmyra---Duane G. Lent, 95, died Sunday (April 6, 2014) at the DeMay Living Center.
All funeral services will be private and at the convienence of the family. Burial will be in the Port Gibson Cemetery.

Memorials, in his name, may be made to the Robert C. Stell Memorial Scholarship Fund, 100 East Miller Street, Newark, New York 14513.

Mr. Lent was born on March 20, 1919 in Macedon, son the late Harry and Ruth Wilkinson Lent. He operated a farm in East Palmyra and was a saleman for Clay Farm Equipment of Syracuse.

He is survived by children Carol (Paul) Moore of Fort Pierce, Fl., Scott Lent of Fairport, Amy (Craig) Stell of Clifton Springs and Joan (Fred) Noteboom of Shortsville; five grandchildren Julie Presicci, Lisa Schilling, Meredith Moore, Kristin Springer and Ashley Harb, five great grandchildren Morgan and Robert Springer, Anna, Mary and Brien Presicci, his sister Floris Lent of Perinton. He was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Beatrice, on April 1, 2014 and grandson Robert Stell.
