Newark—Edith Campbell, 83, died Friday (April 29, 2011) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

          Friends may call from 10 to 11 A.M. on Tuesday (May 3^rd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark where a funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Roger Smith, officiating.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

          Edie was born July 7, 1927, in the Town Onondaga, the daughter of the late James and Hattie Hamilton.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.  Edie has lived in Newark most of her life where she did cleaning for several families and businesses.

          She is survived by friends in the Newark High Rise and the Wayne County Nursing Home.
