Newark—Erin M. Sauve, 44, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Strong Memorial Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2023, starting at 1 PM at the Fairville Fire Station on Route 88.

In leiu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Lipson Cancer Institute, 2 Coulter Rd., Clifton Springs, NY 14432

Erin was born in Rochester, NY, on May 4, 1979, the daughter of Stephen and Martha Legacy Sauve. She graduated from Newark Senior High School, Class of 1997. After high school, she earned her associate's degree from FLCC. For over 20 years, she was a Direct Support Staff for Finger Lakes DDSO. Erin loved spending time with her family and friends.

Miss Sauve is survived by a daughter Lilyanna Shulla Sauve; her parents Stephen and Martha Sauve; two sisters Carrie (Mitchell Van Maldeghem) Sauve, Shannon (Michael Greene) Sauve; a niece Kelsey, a nephew Cole, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
