Newark ---Florence Foti, 91, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday May 29, 2013.

            No prior calling.   Father Felix Dalimpuo will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A. M. on Saturday (June 1st) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.

            Memorials, in her name, may be made to the St. Michael Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513

            Mrs. Foti was born on September 18, 1921, in Manchester, New York the daughter of Joseph and Julia Vangelisti Zomeri.   She graduated of Manchester High School in the Class of 1939 and moved to Newark seventy-one years ago.  Florence retired from the Newark Development Center in 1984, where she had worked in food service.  She was a communicate of St. Michael Church and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society and the Sacred Heart Mission.  Florence was faithful volunteer with the Martha Ministries and the church rummage sales.

            She is survived by his son Gary (Claudia) of Pittsford and daughter Sharon (David Spence) Foti of Seeley Lake, Mt.; four grandchildren Nicholas, Jason, Kelly and Jennifer and a great grandson James; a sister Joanne Masco of Boynton Beach, Fl., a brother David (Alivia) Zomeri of Lancaster, several nieces and nephews.  Florence was predeceased by her husband Nick, three sisters Rita Sanseverino, Inez Hamelinck and Margaret Passalacqua.
