Newark--Gary R. DeFrain, 77, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the Huntington Living Center in Geneva.

All services will be private.

Gary was born in Lyons, on June 28, 1947, the son to the late Earlen and Florence Gotshal DeFrain.  He was a graduate of Clyde High School.  He retired from F.L.D.D.S.O.  He loved the NY Giants and the NY Yankees.  Gary enjoyed online shopping and playing games on his phone.

Mr. DeFrain is survived by his wife Carroll; three daughters Michele Pasquriello, Tina Hebert, Tara DeFrain; two sons Jeremy DeFrain and Jason (Delema) DeFrain and many grandchildren.
