George H. Love

Newark—George H. Love, 89, died Tuesday (February 23, 2016) at the DeMay Living Center.

Friends may call from 11 AM to 1 PM. onSaturday (February 27th at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, where a funeral service will follow at 1 PM.

Mr. Love was born in Buffalo on February 6, 1927. He came to Newark and worked for the Jackson-Perkins Rose Gardens and then for a local farmer. George returned to Buffalo where he was the maintenance worker for Midway Beef and Sirloin Restaurant for over thirty years. He returned in Newark after the death of his wife Evelyn in 2002, to be near his daughters.

George is survived by his companion for the past eleven years, Betty Schinsing, his daughters Janet Hall and Laura (Darl) Palmer all of Newark; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter. He besides his wife he was also predeceased by four siblings.
