Newark—Jennie M. Ward, 82, died on Saturday (January 16, 2010) at the DeMay Living Center.  Funeral services will be held at 7 P.M. on Tuesday (Jan. 19, 2010) at the Kingdom Hall of the Newark Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 201 Silver Hill Road, Newark.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.                                                                                                          

          Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, N.Y. 14623 or to the Kingdom Hall, 201 Silver Hill Road, Newark, New York 14513. 

Mrs. Ward was born on August 11, 1927 in Newark, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Caldorado  DeFelice.  She was a member of the Newark Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.   Over the years, Jennie had employed at C.H. Stuart, Rus-Pak and Sarah Coventry where she worked in the material handling department. 

She is survived by her husband of 591/2 years Edwin “Bob”, two daughters Robin (Douglas) McDonald of Newark, Mindy (Dr. Alec) Sutherland of Pittsford, two grandchildren, Tracy(Sean) Burckholter and Daniel (Bethany) Cooke, her siblings Camille (Mary) DeFelice and Josephine Case both of Newark.  She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Rose Caldorado DeFelice and a sister Ellen Pantussi.
