John L. Rayno, age 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 16, 2026.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11am on Thursday November 5, 2026 at the New York State Veterans Cemetery in Romulus.
John was born August 13, 1940 in Rochester, the son of the late Clarence and Frances Rayno. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. John was retired from the Newark State School after many years of service. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
John will be sadly missed by his daughter, Joanna (Michael) DeLooze, son, John Rayno Jr.; grandsons, Jed and Morgan DeLooze; brothers, Robert, Joe, James, and Chip Rayno.
John is predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Frances Rayno; brother, Jerry Rayno.
