Judith E. Gullo

Newark—Judith E. Gullo, 85, passed away on Monday November 10, 2025, at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, NY.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday November 15, 2025, at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St., Newark, NY 14513. Burial will follow at Newark Cemetery.

Judy was born in Penn Yan, on May 23, 1940, the daughter of the late James and Jean Flack. She was a graduate of Lyons High School. She married Tony Gullo and raised three children. When her children grew older, she earned her Real Estate License and worked for Century 21 for many years. She loved playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed Syracuse Orange Basketball and the Buffalo Bills.

She is survived by a son Jeff (Elizabeth) Gullo; two daughters Karen (Joseph) Burgess and Brenda Gullo (Randy Fireman); five Grand Children: Kayla, Joseph Jr., Matt, Stacey, Taylor; and two Great Grandchildren: Paige and Cameron; a sister Janice (Herman) Bornheimer, a sister-in-law Priscilla Flack; a close niece JoAnn (Mike) Kidder; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony “Tony” Gullo; two brothers Jerry and Joseph Flack.
