Katherine R. Huhn Concert Marro

Newark ---Katherine R. Marro--77, passed away on Friday (October 4th) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

​Graveside service will be on Friday (October 11, 2013) at 3 P.M. in the East Newark Cemetery.  Reception to follow at the East Newark Grill. Memorials in her name may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Assoc. of WNY, PO Box 24580, Rochester, New York 14624 or the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14513.

Mrs. Marro was born August 23, 1936, in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania the daughter of Harold and Pauline Federovich Huhn.  Over the years, Katherine had work at several local manufacturing companies.She retired from Sullivan Trail Construction Company where she had worked as a dispatcher for over ten years.  Katherine was extremely proud of her Polish and Irish heritage and an avid Yankee Fan.

 She is survived by husband of 41 years,Daniel Marro; sons Michael (Denise Siler Barry) Concert and Ronald Concert both of Newark; step-son Daniel R. Marro of Lyons; two grandchildren Ryan and Christopher Concert; two step-grandchildren Joseph and Sara Marro; sister Rose Bitto of Swoyersville, Pa; sister-in-law Therese Urban of Newark, brother-in-law Jack Sumpolec of Frederickburg, VA; several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by her parents and several siblings.
