Kenneth Harris II

Phelps/Newark—Kenneth Harris II, 46, died Friday (June 10, 2011), at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

              Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday (June 14^th) at Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark.  A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday (June 18^th) in Fairville Cemetery.

              Ken was born on February 12, 1965 in Rochester, the son of Kenneth and Barbara Revelle Harris. He attended Newark High School and Ohio Diesel Tech. Ken enjoyed being a mechanic and a fisherman.

              He is survived by his loving wife Jodi (Bastian); his parents Barb and Ken, stepdaughter Tiffany Murray; stepson Justin Crane; sister Robin (James) Michael; nephews David (Krystal) and Benjamin Granger; great nieces  Alexa and Zoe Granger and his dog Chloe.
