Savannah/Clyde—Larry Mander, Sr., 65, died Saturday (June 15, 2013) at the Sherwins Nursing Home in Rochester.

Friends may call from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. on Wednesday (June 19, 2013) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark, New York where funeral services will follow the calling hours.  Burial will be in Fairville Cemetery.

Mr. Mander was born on July 3, 1947 in Lyons, New York the son of Arthur H. and Serlina Maslyn Mander.  He had worker for the New York Central Railroad.

He is survived by his son Larry Mander, Jr. of Savannah, his father Arthur (Eva) Mander of Savannah, three  grandchildren  Adrianna, Logan, Lara, two nieces,  a brother-in-law Roger Bates; caregiver Harriet Farnsworth of Clyde.  He was predeceased by his mother, two sisters Barbara Bates and Emily Mander.
