Lillian DeMarco
Newark—Lillian DeMarco, 82, died Wednesday (April 8, 2015) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
Family and friend are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Saturday (April 25th) at St. Felix Catholic Church, 12 Hibbard Avenue, Clifton Springs, New York. Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
Memorials, in her name, may be made to Mercy Flight Central, 2420 Brickyard Road, Canandaigua, New York 14424 or to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mrs. DeMarco was born on February 9, 1933 in Savannah, the daughter of the late Earl and Lucilia Sweet Westcott. She graduated from Clyde High School, Class of 1951. At one time, Lil had worked for Jackson Perkins and C. H. Stuart . Then for many years, she was a teller at the Chase Manhattan Bank in Newark . Lillian enjoyed making craft items. In her retirement, along with her husbands' help, Lil operated a craft business for several years. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Newark.
Lillian is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rudy; three children Tina (Jace Hetherley) Peters of Newark, Diana (Richard) Rainaldi of Penfield and Rudy (Michelle) of Newark; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a brother James (Diane) Westcott of Rochester and sister Janice (Leo) Jenkins) of Clyde; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sisters, Sarah Westcott and Sally Graham.
