Newark–Linda J. Williams, 64, died Sunday (November 7, 2010) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

            Friends may call on Wednesday (November 10th) from 5 to 8 pm at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St. in Newark.  Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 8 PM.  Burial will be in Newark Cemetery

          Memorials in her name may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489 or to a favorite charity of your choice.

          Linda was born on July 4, 1946, in Wellsville the daughter of the late Frederick L. and Winifred Burt Serens.  She was the cafeteria manager at the Newark Middle School for many years, retiring in 1998.  Linda worked part time at the Newark Wal-Mart for several years.

          She is survived by three children Rick Serens of Newark, Jason (Dawn) Williams of Highland Lakes, NJ, and Kim Williams of Lyons; two grandchildren Cody and Danica; a brother –in law Bernard “Butch” Colacino and sister-in-law Vera Serens, several nieces and nephews.  Linda was predeceased by a brother Frederick R. Serens, sister Mary Kay Colacino and niece Stacy Colacino.
