Lois Ellen McDonald

Lyons—Lois Ellen McDonad, joined the angels on Friday, December 9, 2022, with family by her side.

Lois was born in Batavia, New York, February 25, 1929, the daughter of the late William Moore and Mildred Putney. Lois devoted 30 years s a CNA at Gulf Coast Nursing Home in Florida. She also spent many years as front desk manager at the Sheraton Hotel in Newark.

Lois was a praying woman, she helped get us through. She prayed for anyone and everything, family, friends and you. Lois never gave up a chance to help or wait on others. She will be remembered for kind and generous ways, always putting other before herself. Her love for her family and her cats was tremendous and irreplaceable.

Mrs. McDonald is survived by two children, one daughter Lisa (Howard Jr.) Albrecht of Lyons and son Scott (Misty Winter) McDonald of Newark; two grandchildren Michael (Amanda) McDonald and Alexis Albrecht; three great grandchildren Caitlyn, Bryce and Owen McDonald; together with a long list of others who loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Flovd; three brothers Jim, David and Billy Moore and a step brother Billy Geisz. Friends and family will be invited to a

cerebration of her life, which will be announced at a later date.
