NEWARK-Lois R. Rohrer, 95, passed on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

Friends are in invited to call on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 11 – 1 PM at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Lois was born in Candor, NC the daughter of the late David and Ida Ewing Robinson. She was a member of the Eastern Star. At the Newark Elks Lodge she was a past president and secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son Kenneth (Deborah) Rohrer; two daughters Linda Snyder and Lisa Grimes (Chad McKee); a daughter-in-law Nina Rohrer; nine grandchildren Matthew (Samantha) Rohrer, Andrew Rohrer, Nicole (Andy) Lanphear, Stephanie Snyder (Tyler), Justin (Miranda) Grimes, Max Rohrer, Curtis Grimes (Madisyn), Sebastian Rohrer, Kayleigh Rohrer; eight great grandchildren. Lois was predeceased by her husband Gerald in 2012; a son Gary in 2016; son-in-law David Snyder in 2020; her three brothers Charles, Bernard and Homer Robinson.

The family would like to thank the staff of The Terrace of Newark and the Wayne County Nursing Home for their excellent care the last 10 months of her life.
