Newark- Marie P. DeJohn, 90. died Saturday (December 21, 2013) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

Friends may call fro 6-8 P.M. on Monday (December 23^rd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Funeral services will be Tuesday (December 24^th) at 11 A.M. at the funeral home with Father Felix Dalimpuo officiating.. Burial will be in East Newark Cemetery.

Mrs. DeJohn was born on April 15. 1923, in Phelps the daughter of the late James and Adeline DeWind David. She had been a member of St. Michael's Church and had lived in Freehold, New Jersey for 37 years before moving back to Newark three years ago.

Marie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralph T., three children David DeJohn, Susan (Kevin) Sullivan and Brent (Kristine) DeJohn all of Newark; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Erma Beman.
