Martha Provost

Newark---Martha Provost, 92, died Sunday (October 31, 2010) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

            Friends may call on Friday (November 5^th) from 1-3 pm at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller St. in Newark.   A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 3 PM with Rev. Brian Maag officiating.  Burial will be at Newark Cemetery. 

          Mrs. Provost was born on August 31, 1918, in Sodus Center, New York the daughter of Julius Charles and Mary Louise Milbrook Dobbelaere.            She is survived by a daughter Paula (Joseph Simmons) Provost of Seal Beach, CA, son-in-law Michael Thompson of Newark; three grandchildren Jamie Wildeboer Joelle Duarte and Leslie Thompson; four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  Martha was predeceased by her husband Glenn in 1991, daughter Victoria Thompson in 2004, son Rodney Fay in 2008, six sisters and two brothers.
