She was married to Charles Henry (Hank) Stuart for 21 years. Hank and Mary Stuart celebrated their 21st anniversary on June 21st by watching the glory of sunrise and the sunset together. A short time after sunset, Mary entered into eternal life.

She went on to the University of Central Missouri and graduated with a BS in Public Relations. She also held a master’s degree in Human Resources from Webster University, Mo.

In later years, Mary and Hank gave back to the sport they loved by providing race management services throughout the world for the International Melges 24 Class and several other international classes. No matter where they went throughout the world, they were warmly welcomed by local sailors assisting in the management of the races.

She was a member of the Genesee Valley Club, New York Yacht Club, and Sodus Bay Yacht Club, and an honorary member of Oswego Yacht Club.

Mary was a loving, spirited wife, daughter, sister, stepmom and grandmother. She was classic and timeless. Everything she did was to perfection.
