Mary Margaret ”Peggy” Kamalsky

Newark--- Peggy Kamalsky, 84, died on Friday (May 4, 2012) at her home.

          A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 AM on Monday (May7th) at St. Michael’s Church, South Main Street, Newark.. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Watertown.

        Memorials, in her name, may be made to American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman Street, Rochester, New York 14620.

        Mrs. Kamalsky was born on December 23, 1927, the daughter of the late Paul and Alma Byrnes Sutton.  Before moving to Newark in 1957, she had worked on the switchboard at Southern New England Bell Telephone Company and for several doctors offices in Watertown.  Peggy was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church and a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.

        She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Leo; three children Paul, Joan and Alan; numerous nieces and nephews.  Peg was predeceased by three siblings Catherine Brown, John Sutton and Harriet Neal.
