Newark-- Necebbia Fern Crumb, 82, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at her home in Newark.

A graveside Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Newark Cemetery.

Fern was born in Princeton WVA., on May 24, 1941 the daughter of the late George and Etta Mae Cooper Blackwell. She was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1959. For fortyfive years she was a neighborly Avon Lady. After her kids grew up she became a Teacher’s Aide at Wayne Co. Action Program’s Head Start. Fern had been a longtime member of the Marbletown Fire Department’s Ladies Aux. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening and cooking.

She is survived by two sons Jackie (Elaine) and William Brimm; two daughters Rose Marie Pollot and Necebbia (Eric) DeTaeye; seven grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister Myrtle. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph in 2007; a son Randy Brimm; five brothers and sisters
