Newark---Nilda Ortiz Rodrigues, 71, passed on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her home in Newark.

Friends and family are in invited to call on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 1-2 PM at Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark, NY. A funeral service will follow at 2PM at the Funeral Home.

Nilda was bprk in Philadelpha, PA on August 4, 1954, the daughter of the late Austine and Isabelle Ortiz Rodriguez. For many years she worked aa a Nurse.

She is survived by three children Nelson Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz and Isabelle Colon Ortiz. Eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by many brothers and sisters
