Newark—97, died peacefully on Monday (November 30, 2015) at the Wayne County Nursing Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Saturday (December 5th) at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will be in Newark, Cemetery.

Memorials, in her name, may be made to St. Michael Church, 401 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513 or to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, New York 14432.

Mrs. Finewood was born on November 11, 1918 in Huron, New York, the daughter of the late J. Ross and Mary Bush LeFevre . She was a graduate of Wolcott High School, Class of 1937. Pauline was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She had also worked at Sarah Coventry for many years. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church and a life member of the Newark Grange.

She is survived by her children Joanne (Charles) DePauw of Newark, Pamela (Mike) O'Reilly of Byrdstown, TN and Ronald (Celeste) Finewood of Palmyra; several nieces and nephews. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Howard B. in 1989, two sisters Gladys Reed and Helen Karkruff.
