Newark--Regina M. Sparks, 73, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at her home.  

A celebration on life is being planned for a future date.  

Memorials in her name may be made to the Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, New York 14489.

Regina was born in Clifton Springs, on December 4, 1951, the daughter of the late John and Betty Tilly Miller.  She was a graduate of Newark Senior High School, Class of 1970.  She was a volunteer for the Newark Ambulance in its early days.  For decades, she worked a phlebotomist.  She loved animals, she spent her time caring for her cats, watching and feeding the birds in her yard.  She loved watching all of the wildlife in her secluded yard.  

She is survived by her son Jesse (Megan) Van Liew; many friends and neighbors.  She was predeceased by her sister Cindy Bell; two brothers Terry and John Miller.
