Rochester—Robert P. Sicker, 85, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at DeMay Living Center.

A Mass of Christian burial is being planned for Spring of 2024 at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, 5771 Buell St., Akron, NY 14001. Entombment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.

Bob born in Buffalo, NY, on Sept. 14, 1938, the son of the late Francis and Laura Lang Sicker. After high school he enlisted in the US Navy as an Airman. He retired from Kodak in 1991, where he worked in the Roll Coating Depart. He and his wife were always active in their local Parish. In the past, Bob had been a volunteer fireman at the Barnard Fire Dept. in Greece. He had taught Country Music Line Dancing. In his retirement he was an active community member at Leisurewood Recreational Community in Akron. Bob loved rooting on his Buffalo sports teams, especially the Bills.

Mr. Sicker is survived by five children Robert (Deborah) Sicker, Michelle (James) Connors, Deborah (David) Lincoln, Laurie (Robert) Varriccho, and DeAnn (Edward) Farrell; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister-in-law Lucy Sicker; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Jane Sicker in 2020; a great grandchild; and his brother Francis Kenneth Sicker.
