Rodney L. Faro

Rodney L. Faro, age 71, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 3, 2026.

Calling Hours will be held from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday November 8th at the Paul L. Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Miller St., Newark.

Funeral services will be held 11am on Monday November 9th at Park Presbyterian Church, 110 Maple Court, Newark

Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Fairville Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to Park Presbyterian Church in Rodney’s name.

Rodney was born April 6, 1955 in Newark the son of Howard and Betty Faro. He retired from car sales in 2013. Rodney was a lifetime member of Ducks Unlimited. He enjoyed barn and garage sales, always on the lookout for antiques. Most important to Rodney was spending time with his family. He loved traveling the world with his wife, Sue.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 41 years, Sue Faro; children, Timothy (Jessica) Faro, Jarod (Allee Powers) Faro; grandchildren, Riley, Austin, Emmett, and Audrey; mother, Betty Faro.

Rodney is predeceased by his father, Howard Faro.
