Samuel Ruffalo, Jr.
Newark—Samuel Ruffalo, 62, died on Saturday (March 21, 2015) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
Friends may call on Tuesday (March 24th) from 4 -7 P.M. at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 East Miller Street, Newark. Father Felix Dalimpuo will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. on Wednesday at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark. Burial will follow at the Newark Cemetery.

Mr. Ruffalo was born on January 16, 1953 in Lyons, the son of the late Samuel and Louise Ticconi Ruffalo, Sr. He had worked at Kodak for 19 years and for the past ten years has been machinist at Garlock. He was a communicant of St. Michael's Church. Sam was a member of the Wayne County Coin Club, August Mauer American Legion and the Newark Rod and Gun Club. He loved all animals especially dogs. He liked to hunt and fish and loved riding his Harley. Many knew Sam as the proud owner of a 1968 Shelby Cobra.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lucinda, daughter Tonya (Keith) Schneider of Webster, son Jesse (Stephanie) of Webster; three grandchildren Brady Ruffalo, Connor Schneider, and Lindsay Ruffalo; sisters Sandra Ruffalo of Fairport and Tina Louise (Shane Palermo) Lefever of Palmyra; mother-in-law Theresa Urban, brother-in -laws Mark (Karen) Urban and Robert (Mindy) Urban, Jr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Sam was predeceased by his parents, father-in-law Robert L. Urban, Sr. and brother-in-law Mike Lefever.
