Newark---Steven J. Smith, 71, passed away on April 6, 2026, at Hospeace House in Naples, New York.

Steven was born in Newark, on July 24, 1954, the son of the late Leon and Mary Coleman Smith. He was a graduate of Newark Senior High School. He retired from Hallagan Furniture where he worked as an upholsterer.
He is survived by his sister Mary Sullivan and nieces and nephews.
